Poinsettias are synonymous with Christmas and the brightly colored plants are a sure sign that the Christmas season has begun. Poinsettias are also synonymous with the Paul Ecke Ranch, the world’s largest and most successful poinsettia breeder. The Paul Ecke Ranch has been growing and breeding poinsettias for almost 100 years! Today over half of all poinsettias sold worldwide have been bred by the Paul Ecke Ranch.

The history of the Paul Ecke Ranch spans four family generations in California and through those four generations poinsettia production has evolved to become one of the largest commercial greenhouse crops.

What does conservation in full bloom look like?

It’s in the face of a beautiful white bear, whose existence is threatened in our world today. Polar Bears International is a non-profit organization dedicated to the conservation of Polar Bears and their habitat through research and education projects sponsored by this organization and their partners.
